The World Conference of the Science Journalists is a biggest biennal global event for the science journalists, communication professionals and media officers. The programme includes also press conferences that are available for all journalists, also for colleagues not attending the conference. Many speakers and participants are also available for interviews.
To serve visiting members of media, the confrence has a press centre, located in the University of Helsinki, main building, 3. floor, Lecture hall 7.
Press conferences will take place at the Consistorium (University main building) from Tue – Thu the lunch break (12.30 – 14.00).
The press centre is open from Monday to Thursday 9 – 17.
Accredited journalists are welcome to attend the press conferences.
The accrediatation shoud be done, if possible, in advance via e-mail, but it is possible also on site in the Press Centre.
